This scholarship program is open for nontraditional students and also provides a $1,000 scholarship to a student that commits to using education to better their life and that of their family and to the community.
Applicants must submit a 250-word personal statement as a requirement. Applicants must also be enrolled in a two or four year college course or a vocational school, or planning to enroll in the next 12 months. Lastly, applicants must be U.S citizen or legal resident.
